Welcome to The International Malar Music Festival 2010
For the fifth year in a row Mr Dalborg & Mr Jablonski throws a classical music festival in the beautiful Malar Lake environment of Sweden. How about a Chopin anniversary with Banja Luka Filharmonic Orchestra? Or a Gala evening with three tenors from England, Italy and Sweden? Or one of the world’s best violinists, Jovan Kolundzija, celebrated at Carnegie Hall? A Balkan evening of world-class soloists? This year, The Malar Music Festival will also “spill over” into the Baltic Sea. For the first time in the history of the festival, we also bring a full symphony orchestra on a luxury cruise to Finland. For the delight for you who wants to follow that path and let loose.

The Balkan Culture Cruise
This might be the biggest cultural event on the Baltic Sea this year. In 24 hours, we will be offering the opportunity for guests to dance, conduct business meetings, listen to Balkan music, attend seminars and cultural exhibitions, to taste great food and sparkling beverages. The Malar Lake was too small and it is time for Dalborg & Jablonski Productions to head out to deeper waters. This is why, in partnership with the Swedish Embassy in Belgrade and Sarajevo, the Swedish Trade Council, Siepa and several world renowned artists and orchestras will head out to a Baltic Sea luxury cruise on August 24th. There, we can truly combine business with pleasure by providing the opportunity for Swedish and Balkan people to experience the great Balkan culture and to develop strong business and private networks. This will be a great cultural event that should not be missed and you are most welcomed.
The culture program is diverse so there will be something for everyone’s taste whether it is listening to classical music or partying to the hot DJ or trumpet tunes.

Classical Jam Session
Classical Jam Session is our recreation of an ancient Schubertiana. We introduced this "classic afterparty" to the festival in 2006. This year ”The Classical Jam Session” will be in Västerås Concert Hall foyer after Thursday's Festival concert and after Saturday’s Operagala. The drink is chilled and the waiters are in place. Together we create a real life café Momus as Puccini wrote about in "La Bohème." Here is an opportunity for musicians of all types to show their lighter side and entertain in a relaxed and happy atmosphere. With all the people from Balkan it will be a "Schubertiana" to remember!
