Programme
In the Malar International Music festival you will find classical pearls. We want to offer the most beautiful music from some of the greatest composers in history. And not least, make it accessible to a wider audience. This year we naturally devote special attention to Haydn in his anniversary year. And we have not had enough of Mozart or Grieg despite previous celebrations.

Artists
As usual, we can boast of international stars. We may have no foreign symphony orchestra in place, but after last year's co-operation with the Västerås Sinfonietta, we are happy to work with them again for this year's festival. As a result the Sinfonietta has become "festival orchestra" in Västerås and Eskilstuna under the experienced baton of Gustaf Sjökvist. World renowned conductor Okko Kamu will show a completely different side of himself, as a violinist in a romantic French evening on Saturday night. A festival for all Music Lovers.
